Please note the Club will be closed from Monday 14 March to Friday 18 March reopening on Saturday 19 March. 

The ceiling in the main club house area is sagging due to condensation and needs to be replaced as a matter of urgency. It will not be safe or hygienic for the bar to be open during this time so the Committee have taken the decision to close the Club for these 5 days. The Bar & Office will be closed during that time. However, Jan will still be working so please email or telephone the office as normal.

In order to fully utilise the time the Club is closed the Club will also be redecorated during that period which will also include the toilets and shower rooms. The insulation in the roof will be replaced with that of a much greater thickness which should prevent the condensation problem in the future. In addition the ceiling supports will be strengthened where necessary & the interior of the roof will be sprayed to prevent rot. 

At a later date soffits will be fitted to the outside eaves to provide ventilation of the roof area. It is anticipated that these tasks will not disrupt the normal running of the Club.

The Committee apologises to the Membership for this disruption but these are necessary tasks which have to be done before the start of the season.
